When I need a pink embellishment I pick up the pink box flip it over and look through the bottom until I find what I think will work and then open only that part of the container. Love these because there is never spillage and they are easy to travel with to crops. But you are right I am getting some of my bigger brads and specialty items scratched. Whether it's Prima type flowers or flowers made with tissue paper, DP, etc, the brads as centers are great. Plus side, is that it's easy to attach the card/scrap page.
